Mu-01

Meet the Mu-01 (µ-01): a new-generation 12-hole chromatic harmonica featuring TOMBO's innovative Short Cross mechanism. It combines a cross-layout mouthpiece with large openings and a remarkably short slide stroke: an internal sub-slide moves the same distance in the opposite direction to the main slide, roughly halving the slide travel. The result is fast, effortless playing of even the quickest phrases with only a minimal movement. The Mu-01 is characterized by a sweet yet focused tone and a smooth, light slide action (soft spring). Further features include a resin comb, newly designed valves made from a new material, 1.0 mm reed plates, matte black painted brass cover plates and a gold-blasted mouthpiece. 12 holes / 48 reeds, range c1–d4, 161 x 43 x 35 mm, 221 g, Italian-made soft case included. Made in Japan. TOMBO harmonicas have been renowned for their quality for over 100 years. Founded in 1917, the company uses Japanese craftsmanship and tradition to produce high-quality harmonicas that are played all over the world.
