The JET JS-400 Series represents the classic S-style electric guitar redefined with added humbucker power and extended range options. Based on the timeless double-cut design, every JS-400 model features at least one humbucker integrated into the traditional S-style layout, combining familiar ergonomics with increased output and a more assertive visual presence. In addition to standard 6-string models, the series also includes a 7-string version, expanding the platform for players seeking greater low-end range without sacrificing the classic S-style feel.
Built with a solid basswood body and a bolt-on Canadian roasted maple neck, the JS-400 maintains the traditional 25.5” scale length (with extended scale specifications for the 7-string variant), a 22-fret layout on 6-string models, and a vintage-style 9.5” radius for balanced playability. Depending on the finish, models are available with either a maple or rosewood fretboard.
Pickup configurations include HSS and HH layouts. HSS versions combine a bridge humbucker with two single coils, offered in combinations such as a black humbucker with white single coils or coordinated cream pickup sets. HH versions are available with dual cream humbuckers or dual black humbuckers for a more contemporary appearance. Electronics follow the familiar S-style control format with selector switching and master volume and tone controls.
Most JS-400 models feature a two-point tremolo system, while selected versions are available as hardtail models in three finishes for players who prefer a fixed bridge setup. The series also includes a relic-style aged version, multiple modern finishes, and a distinctive black model with maple fretboard and gold hardware.
Designed in Europe and built with carefully selected materials, the JET JS-400 Series delivers the unmistakable S-style foundation enhanced with humbucker power, multiple hardware options, extended-range capability, and strong visual variety — all within an accessible and performance-ready platform.
