Think you’re seeing double?  As you look at the pictures of the Flight Iris 8 Tenor, do not worry–your eyes are not deceiving you!  The Flight Iris 8 Tenor is an eight string ukulele, Flight’s first multi-string ukulele.This eight-string ukulele offers a unique playing experience with four pairs of strings, tuned to Gg CC EE AA.  An eight string ukulele creates a sound unlike any other ukulele–strong, and full of character.  While tuning an eight string ukulele takes more time than tuning a four string ukulele, the playing difference is not widely different, as your fingers will feel each course of two strings as a single larger string.
